I absolutely love this product to revamp my oil to milk cleanser but can't find a single supplier in the US. I've checked the list of suppliers you provided and none of them carry this in small quantities for small businesses. Could you please let us know of reliable distributors??
Hi, Thank you for your interest in our products! our American distributor is Omya-Kinetik: omyakinetik.com however, if the pack sizes are too large there are several resellers available who may stock our products in smaller quantities: Aromantic aromantic.co.uk/ Bay House www.bayhousearomatics.com/ Soapmakers Store soapmakers-store.com/ Naturally Balmy naturallybalmy.co.uk/ Gracefruit www.gracefruit.com/ Soap Kitchen www.thesoapkitchen.co.uk/ You will notice the tradenames are different from ours on their websites, this is due to a trademark restriction but the material is the same and is manufactured by us. You will be able to compare products by looking at the INCI names on our website www.alchemy-ingredients.com.
Micromulse LB would be perfect for this application. For a similar formulation we suggest looking at the Miracle Hair Oil as this can be easily adapted to create a pre-shampoo treatment rather than a post-shampoo treatment. www.alchemy-ingredients.com/formulations/miracle-hair-oil We would recommend using Micromulse LB at between 15-20%. Typically we use Micromulse LB at 17.5%, and then adjust the levels of glycerine and water used depending on the oil phase to keep transparency.

New Subscriber here...this is lovely ♥️ Can it be made using normal electric hand mixer because unfortunately i don't have that advanced stirrer machine? How can i get small quantities in the US please??
Good Morning, thanks for your message. Using a normal hand mixer isn't something that we have tried ourselves in the lab but it should work... All product orders are managed by our distributors, a list of which can be found on our website here: alchemy-ingredients.com/distributors/?near=51.3919942,-0.44304499999999997&no-anim=1 It's worth noting though that there are usually minimum order quantities. I hope that helps :-)
Hi team, loved the video. Can I ask why you added extra glycerine to the formula? Doesn't micromulse lb contain glycerine. Also if I wanted a more of a runnier consistency, how would I go about doing this?
The extra glycerine is required to create a fluid transparent system. Your choice of oil will determine how fluid your system is as you need to adjust the levels of water and glycerine to match the refractive index of the oil phase. Esters tend to have a lower refractive index than vegetable oils so require a small amount of water to achieve transparency, this helps to create a more fluid texture. We suggest checking out our Micellar Cleansing Oil formulation if you require a thinner system: www.alchemy-ingredients.com/formulations/micellar-cleansing-oil

Can this be used in a pre-shampoo oil treatment for hair? If so, what's the suggested usage rate?
